Renting in Lincoln?

Right, I'm going back to uni in September to study Architecture in Lincoln (was previously studying in Leicester 4 years ago) and need some advice into renting there.

I will be looking for a one bedroomed flat (will be living with my gf who will also be studying at Lincoln) and any advice would be appriciated i.e. the areas I should avoid living in, the kinda price I may bo looking at and if they are easy to find.

Unfrtunately I can't give much advice despite my mam living in Lincolnshire... She's up in Alford which is a good hour and a bit away.

Went to Lincoln for an open day, t'was a really nice place. Excellent university, was only opened in 01-02 so it's all brand new with some nice architecture on display. Loved the city itself aswell, with the old parts being very beautiful, and oh what a Cathedral!
