Man it's been a while since I been on here but hey the season only starting now and well just hope we perform as well as we've been going in the traoning games and well remember regardless of the result the trophies aren't won as a result of tomorrow but the momentum going in to HEC is huge.

Out of interest how is Will Chambers doing? I haven't been able to find any highlights of the matches he has played it. From my time watch Super15 last year he performed quite well and was surprised when he didn't get a new contract.

I would have loved to seen Keatley at 12 as he really suits the style that I like both at 12 and 10. Not to sure on Kearney's selection at 15 and I really hope it doesn't force Nacewa out of the action. Still questions over Toner that he must answer. all in all Leinster have a stronger squad and I expect them to win by 7 points.

In fairness Will has looked superb and is still bedding in. But has the ability and didn't get new contract due to his own choice.

Coonor I agree Leinster have the stronger squad but I think even Leinster fans can agree Nacewa on the wing just isn't the same beast as Nacewa at 15 and well I think that a bad call. Also think it a weak second row as Cullen is getting older so can't do it all and will simply get little support in terms of ability from Toner.

Is this match going to be shown on TV? Hoping for a game of epic proportions.

TG4 same as last year. Last time I muted it and listened to the radios commentry was a good 10 seconds ahead though.

I agree that Nacewa should at fullback but this is a good opportunity to see how effective he is on the wing at this level. I am concerned about Toner and I would have loved to see Leinster sign a quality and experienced second row. From Munster's point of view they're backrow is even worse than last year without Wallace and I would have liked to see one of Munster young back rowers starting as I see very little ball carriers in that pack even if O'Connell is on great form. Obviously it is hard to judge Munster's centres with Chambers playing and Mafi being very good when on form but dreadful when not. I still think Munster's centres are not up to standard and I would have liked to seen Keatley at 12 he has a great pass and way of getting his outside men into space and Munster have 2 top class finishers with Earls and Howlett.

Munster 21 - Leinster 15, probably well off but i hoping that will be the final score

Not sure what is more entertaining, this, Brive-Racing Metro, or watching them trying to sweep water off the pitch at Rodney.

Holy crap that was a mess.. Was like watching the Irish teams of old.

That wasn't up to much. Leinster just about deserved their win based on the first 60 minutes but will have to improve significantly ahead of their clash with Montpellier next weekend. That they beat Munster despite only playing at about 60% is a good sign though. Richardt Strauss, Leo Cullen, Devin Toner, Sean O'Brien (in defence mainly), Isaac Boss and both centres played pretty well.

Munster have now scored scrum penalty tries against Leinster in the last two meetings between the sides. In the Magners League final it came as a bit of a surprise against a fatigued outfit but last night I thought their scrum was very good. Swapping Tony Buckle for BJ Botha looks like a very good bit of business. Let's just hope Botha isn't flogged in every game and is rotated frequently with John Hayes and Stephen Archer in the lesser games. Given his injury history, it's not really necessary to play him often outside of the interprovincials and Heineken Cup games.

Why was Niall Ronan picked ahead of Peter O'Mahoney? I hope that will be reversed next week.

A good win but we lacked flow and width. Hopefully BOD will be back next week and what will be a tough game. We need to keep our discipline and intensity for the whole game and our forwards will need to front up against what will be a big physical Montpellier pack. Hopefully we can get our ball carriers in spaces and boss the breakdown. If we can and our set piece holds out we be ok.

Munster lost that game largely because we didnt put anyone into the rucks and got blown out every time

On the scrum issue, people slam D.Ryan but if you do research on Munster's scrum = it's most effective when he is in lock too. But we have improved there.
Peter still has the knock from few weeks agon and well has played alot so possibly trying to spare him.
I feel we can take positives and argubally say we should've won that IF our discipline was good (which it wasn't)
