Assistant Referees: Paul Haycock, John Carvill (both IRFU)
Citing Commissioner: Tom McCormack (IRFU)
TMO: Peter Ferguson (IRFU)

The Warriors recorded just one away victory last season: 17-16 at Aironi. Ulster achieved a season's double over Glasgow in 2010/11.
Ulster have won their last six matches at Ravenhill in the competition, whilst the most recent Scottish side to lower Ulster's colours at their famous ground was this weeks' opponents Glasgow Warriors on 4 December 2009.
Glasgow Warriors have been victorious in round one for the past three seasons, but finished their last campaign with three successive reversals.

SUFTUM.

Stand Up For the Ulstermen.

Can't this match ****ing kick off already? Can't concentrate on anything else.

Feeling very confident, and nervous as I'm not sure I can quite justify that confidence.

Well, I will be following Ulster very closely again this season. Ruan Pienaar and Johann Muller might miss out on the first couple of weeks, but that doesn't bother me.

Go Ulster!!!

There's still a few boks for you to follow after all ;)

Speaking of Pienaar, funny to think he made his debut in this fixture last year. Scored all the points. Then we went over to Glasgow, and I think he scored all of our points there as well...

Think Glasgow might be just as happy to see Small Marshall there.

whitten good be useful on thw wing showed some pace last year and is a big lad

pack looks decent but mabey a bit thin on the ground

feeling good let these warriors hear the ravenhill roar!!! c'mon ulster!

I remember that match. I even recorded it and saved it on my external. Was an amazing debut for Ruan

The more South Africans the better, we have tended to have a better time dealing with them over the years than the Oirish :D

Is this game being shown on T.V.?

BBC NI 2 and BBC Alba.

8-5 to Ulster now, conversion to come, interception try for the Caveman. iHumph gets the conversion, 10-5.

Awwww :(

Skysports has the score as 10-0 to Glasgow on their score centre

I hate Skysports

iHumph is growing a bit of a beard back - and we all know that with great beard comes great power

Ulster looking better after a shaky start

Weir bagged a penno after Stevenson knocked the ball otu of the scrum-half's hands, Marshall's just got a try... 15-8, conversion to come. In the corner though.

edit: iHumph misses. 15-8, two minutes to go in the half.

Still not convinced by the last penalty, but meh. Oh well.

Ulster playing well, just a few passes going to hands and we'd be tearing Glasgow a new one. Not that Glasgow are playing badly.

edit: p.s. the breeze, and it looks reasonable, is now with the Ulstermen.

Chris Henry Try, Ulster 28 - 14 Glasgow.

whitten may be at home on the wing

if some of those last passes had off stuck we would have tore glasgow apart

parts of this bode well!!!
