Although some of the refereeing calls on Ulster been incredibly harsh.

Nick Williams - what a unit. I wonder how many of those deceiving pick and goes he's done this season.

It amazes me how Henry, Tuohy and even Diack aren't involved more in the Ireland setup.

Edit: and as I say that Tuohy is injured.

Im bricking it every time I see one of Irelandstarting 15 get a knock. Sexton and BOD have already bee given medical attention here, I have a bad feeling that one iof our lads is going to get injured today.

Ulster were a little lucky on a number of occasions in that half. A few of their passes were a little risky and the Scarlets almost picked them off. Unfortunately for the Scarlets, they subsequently knocked the ball on and gave the ball back to Ulster. Ulster really did look on top in the last 10-15mins though.

Nick Williams was very close to being offside with his pick and go. I thought he was in front of the ball when he picked it up = offside.

Edit. That was one of the most blatant blocks ever. How incredibly dull!

Ulster running away with this. I can see them putting a few more try's on the board unless the Scarlets can stop them playing and get some ball to play themselves.

Confused why that was a penalty? Scarlet player was allowed to stand there, didnt have to move out of the way of the Ulster chaser.

Great try. Passes looked very close to being forward though.

Has to continue running or go for the ball. He ran, looked at the ulster player, stopped, then put his shoulder into him. If he was a little more subtle about it he may have gotten away with it, but it was so incredibly obvious.

Edit. Ulster are getting on the outside of the Scarlets defence much to easily. Their spot blitz defence isn't working. Not sure why they don't employ the umbrella blitz defence that many of the top defensive teams use.

Ah I only half saw it to be fair, I thought he was standing there all the time.
Also that pass was a mile forward to Williams, pity it resulted in a try. Didnt mention it earlier, but that first Ulster try was sublime, exactly the reason why they've been a joy to watch all season!

Was he onside or offside there? Plus as the commentator said, probably wasnt a penalty try as pass wasnt great and was simply straight to them. Lot of harsh calls in the 2nd half.

I'll probably agree that wasnt a penalty try, but if it was a decent pass there wasn't anyone infront of him.

He's fully entitled to try and run back onside (which I reckon he mightive marginally got onside) and the Ulster player just passed in straight to him, nowhere near the supporting Ulster man (one of the 2nd rows I think?)
Ulster fully deserve the 5 points, but that was harsh.

Sorry but Easterby and the rest of the Scarlets backroom staff aren't good enough. I don't think many were expecting the Scarlets to win the HC, but they should not be getting slaughtered on a routine basis like they have been. Every time they come up against a strong team they are barely in the game, their backline get's barely any ball, and to me that's a coaching problem. Losing by 10 or so is one thing, but having 30, 40, 50 points put on them all the time is unacceptable.
