Pro14 20-21 Grand Final

Tadhg Beirne, Craig Casey, Keith Earls, Chris Farrell, Dave Kilcoyne, Conor Murray, Peter O'Mahony and CJ Stander rejoin the squad at the HPC.

Kilcoyne (HIA) was replaced in the first half of Saturday's Six Nations win over England and will follow the return-to-play protocols.

Paddy Patterson sustained an ankle injury against Benetton on Friday night and has undergone an MRI scan, he will see a specialist this week regarding further management.

Kevin O'Byrne has returned to full team training after missing out last weekend due to a chest injury.

Continuing to rehab: Fineen Wycherley (neck), Dan Goggin (hand), Neil Cronin (knee), RG Snyman (knee).

Think we will see reasonably strong sides after all. Apparently everyone is available to be picked international or not

Oh they were all back regardless as we have Europe the week after. But may see 1 or 2 not used. Killer is going well in his HIA protocols today so maybe he will see RDS.

McBryde saying everyone's available. I'd def have Young Johnny at 10 in that case and Henshaw. If the other internationals were on the bench then I reckon we'll have enough.

Imagine most of ours will be on the bench nonetheless.

Conan, maybe Henshaw and Van der Flier to start of the guys who started against England.

I'd doubt Henshaw. Any guy that has played in 5 of 6 Nations games I think will be advised rest

"Dave Kilcoyne suffered a head injury in Ireland's win over England last weekend and it remains to be seen if he comes through the return-to-play protocols, meaning James Cronin could start at loosehead prop. Niall Scannell may get the nod at hooker, with Stephen Archer possibly at tighthead."

Has anyone ever read a less committal paragraph?

Killer going through last bits now but shouldn't be played.

That's probably to be expected. That said I am going to predict a side of

1. Cronin
2. Scannell
3. Ryan
4. Kleyn
5. Beirne
6. Coombes
7. O'Mahony
8. Stander
9. Murray
10. Carbery
11. Earls
12. De Allende
13. Farrell
14. Conway
15. Haley

16. O'Byrne
17. Wycherley/Loughman
18. Archer
19. Ahern (?)
20. O'Donoghue
21. Casey
22. Hanrahan
23. Daly

I think Leinsters team has been all but announced now:

15. Keenan
14. Larmour
13. O'Loughlin
12. Henshaw
11. Lowe
10. Byrne
9. McGrath
8. Conan
7. Van Der Flier
6. Ruddock
5. Fardy
4. Toner
3. Furlong
2. Kelleher
1. Healy

You'd imagine Sexton will make their bench, and he's the only one of the uninjured internationals for either side who's being managed. Baird I think to the bench is an interesting call. Great to see strong sides. I have a good feeling about this weekend for some reason. At least it's not in the field of broken dreams, the Aviva. RDS hasn't seen a thoroughbred like Gavin Coombes trotting around in a while.

I was mildly wrong on the bench, but not by much. Dunno how Holland slipped my mind and makes sense Scannell is the 23. Killer being used at all is a surprise.

Oh crap they're playing white Lomu at 11!!!!

Two strong teams, I'm a bit nervous about the two elderly gentleman starting together in our second row. However our bench looks outrageously strong, if we're still in it in the last 20 you'd have to back us!

Think we'll take this.

There are only 5 or 6 Munster guys I'd taken over their opposite number. It'll likely close but I think our bench should do it.

Should have been a try there some great stuff in the build up but poor from ROL/Larmour.

Thjnk it's on O'Loughlin, pass was too high.

Good start, definitely looking the more dangerous in possession. Munster's back competing but look blunt going forward.
