The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has declined to rule out the possibility of professional boxers competing at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

There was a time where this would have been a terrible waste, but in recent years you have professional tennis players and basketball players in the olympics. It would also be great to see it being run by independantly of the major basketball organisations, as it would stop some of the corruption. Ultimately I think it's a good thing.

What would the rules be though? Same as amature I am guessing.
