Biarritz still has a huge injury list (quality of physical trainers must be doubtful there then!!) with Baby, Cabarry, vanStaden, Ngwenya, Marie, and Clement all injured in last week's match to add to Goia, Lund,Waenga, Couet-Lannes, Burotu and Broster in pre-season. So a trip to Albi who beat Bourgoin and scored 32 points last week will not be a happy prospect.

Perpignan play another home match (after thrashing Colomiers last week) this time against Massy who lost at home to Pau which, against such a strong ambitious team, is no disgrace in itself. USAP to win comfortably and BO to get defensive point!

Come on MunsterM................give us a bit more!!!!

How can I argue with just that!!!!!

It's only Thursday and ye don't play until Sunday :p I will be giving you ammo before then.

Has the man mountain Rupeni Caucaunibuca been playing yet for Agen?

Tonal, not sure who to pick right now in the Pro D2 to answer you...none of the teams are even geographically that close to me in the Var:

Screen Shot 2014-08-28 at 8.02.29 PM.png

Man, I'm trying hard but I just dunno...certainly not the B.O. at least, that much is clear....

Biarritz team for Albi......and look at how many players there are who were reported to be injured!!!!

1. VAN STADEN Eugene, 2.LEVI Elvis 3.CLEMENT Stéphane, 4.SOQETA Nemia 5.Edwin HEWITT 6.MOLCARD Tanguy
7. Bryn Evans 8.Fono Ueleni (Cap) 9.Maxime Lucu 10.Kevin Boulogne 11.Rodney Davies 12.Charles GIMENEZ 13.Kevin HAGET 14.HAMDAOUI Kylan 15.BABY Benedict
16.Benjamin Noirot 17.Michael DALLERY 18.MARIE Mathias 19.Fono Ikapote 10.ROUSSARIE Luix 11.NGWENYA Takudzwa
12.COUET-LANNES Paul 13.CABARRY Laurent

We have a 9 at 10, a 12 (who is 5 foot nothing and 8 stone!!) at 15 and a 15 from last week at 11 this week.......................it is bloody bingo!!!

I thought things would change when O'Sullivan was given charge but obviously they have got his balls in a vice and Blanco is still calling the shots!!!

Bourhis was signed as a 10 (but not selected presumably because he is too young) to back up the ever injured Waenga (why no medical joker then?) and again we have to try and find someone prepared to act as a 10 so this week it is Baby.........

Saints preserve us....at least they have put Noirot to the bench after his shocking line out work last week and can only hope with Elvis back in the room it works better this week!!!!

man that American-Kenyan Ngenwya winger just never really blossomed in the Top 14 did he...Biarritz and their issues definitely accounts for something, when you see a guy like Menini or Harinordoquy who, despite being past their primes, start playing really well again the moment they hop off the sinking ship...
He'll sort of forever be that one play at the RWC vs Habana, scoring a try. But that was absolutely stunning though. Leave a prime Bryan Habana for dead off a "dry" race like that, not lots of momentum. That's just lightning pace.

American-Zimbabwean just to correct you

Ngwenya has had some real high spots but not for the last couple of seasons and to be able to shine not only do your team have to have the ball but you have to have centres other than the like of Traille, Bosch and Baby who can pass it to him!!

I am not following this current love in with Imanol at Toulouse......I saw the game he played (and watched him specifically) and he was good in the line out, as he always has been, but no better than Nyanga and apart from that did little as he was rarely at the breakdown and missed more tackles than he made. He was certainly more energetic than he has been at BO for a while but that, really, did not take much!!

Utterly ill informed as ever. Firstly he isn't Kenyan, secondly a guy with 70 odd tries at the top level and produced crucial moments such as the Ospreys try in 2010 counts for much more than a one hit wonder.

i already pointed that out thank you

American-Zimbabwean just to correct you

my bad. Guess I had him confused with some other current American-Kenyan celeb...

Yep Tony, he's been really dimmed these past two years...couldn't hear anything from him anywhere unless I went looking for him, and I'm around...

All home wins except for Agen who lost to Bourgoin by three out of 69 points with the big two (USAP and BOPB) to play tomorrow. Convincing win by Pau (41-3) against Aurillac who BOPB only just scraped home against last week................that will be some local derby when Pau meet up with BOPB!!!

BIarritz, predictably being thrashed at Albi who have not had to do a lot but with a lack of discipline, players in the wrong positions, too many missed tackles, too many players who are not fit to play in the division and devoid of ideas, BO have waived them passed for two converted tries and three penalties 20-9 to Albi.

The Budda is present and is advertising his overpriced shops at the side of ground to give Albi some revenue!!

34-16 with a few minutes to go and the performance can be summed up as NAAFI

Neither
Aim
Ambition or
F......ing
Intelligence

I can only believe that this is three players away from best team that BOPB can put out and, once again, the recruitment has been dire and Eddie O'Sullivan (where is he?) cannot be blamed for that as he was brought on board far too late.

Albeit this was an away game, I really have to believe that BOPB will end up in the bottom half of this division unless many, many things change!!

You saying I have over reacted?

Maybe as Albi went to Bourgoin and won but, even taking that into consideration, no....not over reacting.

BOPB are in serious trouble!
