Both sides first choice bar maybe 2 or 3 Connacht players like Boyle and Aki (I also think Thornbury is better than Roux right now).. Munster really gunning for this to essentially wrap up the pool before focus goes back to Europe. They don't have Aki thank god who is always ridiculous against us. Wonder if Casey is injured or just being rested. In any case I am happy for McCarthy to get his minutes. Has actually played quite well when he's come on and I think he's probably more solid than Cronin was pre injury. Hooker is an interesting one. O'Byrne still starts, but Scannell jumps Marshall in the pecking order.

Not much pecking order Rhys, Jacko and Craig are 3 who are rested due to amount of time. Also Killer was managed and John Ryan too.

Glasgow v Edinburgh game off due to frozen pitch (was fine earlier today but getting harder as the night went on)

Ulster being more clinical than us...need to step it up a gear or three.

Thought Leinster would kick on after the scored a try but they're struggling to make it over the gainline consistently and Ulster have them at ruck time. JGP had a nice break and good pass for Kearney's try, but I think he's slowing them down a bit. Sexton also not looking that sharp.

Ulster really haven't done much with the ball either, but they're playing really well without the ball.

That's a very impressive maul not getting pushed out despite going to the front.

Much better second half, great necessary result but definitely still somewhat anti-climatic.

Frank Murphy has had some joke decisions

Liam Williams "'what we playing now, touch is it?" may add a few weeks to the ban

What happened to the Glasgow vs Edinburgh game you listed above? It's not on ESPN+ or on the PRO14 website for round 11.

Can't believe we nearly shat the bed we were 25 points better than that shower. Literally weren't in the game for 75 minutes. If Connacht had scored there Rory Scannell and Ben Healy would have rightly been slated. Connacht were lucky to get 0 before that.

Beirne and De Allende pick of the players. Murray was really good too. Subs came in and a lot of them really lowered the standard which is unusual. Anyway we won as we absolutely deserved to.

I do firmly believe Frank Murphy was appalling today. Some calls he pulled straight from the sky.
