Premiership Rugby 21/22 - Rd 22

Some big games.

Sale need to beat Sarries to keep their play off chances alive.
Gloucester and Wasps could both still qualify.
Worcester vs Falcons key for who might finish bottom
Irish vs Quins also a key play off battle.

Saints and Exeter also both need wins, so interesting to see if Bath or Bristol can cause an upset.

Few injury returnees, which is nice - still having to have a hooker cover backrow though, with JL du Preez added to the injury list (along with Langdon - and Beaumont/Dugdale confirmed out until next season now)

Would Akker not be more likely than Taylor to end up in the back row really?

A sane person would've thought so but I can't recall him ever being put there - whereas Ashman/Langdon/Taylor have all played 7
Mad, really, as Akker is the worst hooker we've got but would be a bloody good openside

Yep. Sale only have 4 games left including this one, which makes it an absolute 'must win' for them. Looking at the lineups, I don't see that happening though.

Sunday is a massive game for Quins and Irish. If we win, I think the play-offs should be secured, but Irish will want to bounce back from a couple of big defeats on the road.

Bath actually starting to look a little stronger on paper - pity about the form. 12 of the starters who would be in the first choice 23(though arguable for Hughes and Spencer).
Even the bench doesn't fill me with fear - for possibly the first time this season.
I'm suddenly ot sure this isn't just a really cruel April Fools prank.

Rugby incident for me, given koch is there, maybe pen for reckless but no more as nothing he can do given koch pins him in.

I'm amazed that's penalty only

maybe mitigation for getting shoved in but regardless neither of them wrapped

That was easily a yellow for me. Clumsy and late regardless of Koch. Would have been a penalty just for being late, but then also shoulder charges him too.
