Premiership 24/25 - Round 11

How poor is Evans kicking.
Very … just can't afford a 25% record off the tee in tight games. On paper Quins really should have won that a lot more comfortably but without taking any credit from Saints, I never underestimate our ability to underperform.

Still, 5 much needed points so I'm not complaining.

Surely Saints aren't going to let Haffar go with his performances of late.

Iypgun and Haffar gives them two VERY good young looseheads.

Agreed he didn't miss by much on some of them they were not easy, like the first two but I think the final conversion miss you'd expect any half descent kicker to land, the kicking too touch was equally as bad, really didn't try to push anything far to safe, kind of speak volumes when Wales have a few injury's to more favoured FHs none of which are particularly stand out and he's still not getting a look in.

Is that Joseph injured again?
I'm wondering the same thing, can't find anything conclusive hoping/suspecting it was cramp, I can't remember too many prem games with so much ball in play time and at that pace tbf.

To be fair, I think the Wales selection piece is just Gatland. Anscombe and Jarrod Evans should probably be first and second choice.

Evans a good creator and distributor, unfortunately his kicking often lets him down. If Quins had lost last night, the points he left out there would have been very costly.

That obviously isn't going to strengthen his case, but it doesn't really warrant a rookie and a 12 being picked ahead of him.

How's was that a Gloucester lineout, for the one they quick threw?
I thought the Gloucester player was getting tackled into touch and flung it backwards and out?

Gloucester tighthead should be gone here, had Reffell in a proper headlock/guillotine

And then they didn't even check it, just the handbags it caused after!
