Agreed. Made my predictions look like the ravings of a lunatic.
Before the tournament, they played an absolutely dire first half against Wales and lost their first choice #13. Not looking good - but then they powered through the group of death and kept on going, despite everyone assuming the non-rotating squads would get tired. Plus Pichot was unusually calm and unflashy, showing good leadership. They have talent all over the pitch, with good replacements.
The only pity is they fluffed their chance against SA. But they had a good crack at the ABs last year, and it won't be long before they go all the way.
