No No how am i being a racist? I am only saying that if you count the refs and look at the white ones, you will see they are nmore. Maybe the IRB are racist I think becos they only select white refs. There is one black ref and he is a South african in any case. Gregan isnt white. Am i allowed to say he isnt white? Maybe not.

Okay, allowing myself to run the risk of being called a racist, but name one coloured referee that is in the top echelons of refereeing in any one of the 1st Tier countries (Ireland + UK, France, Aus, NZ, Arg and SA)

Not that it matters what skin colour they are anyway...

this forum thread made me feel i have to register just to reply. first off my comrade, south africans ARE victims. we have been exploited since colonialism by your queen and all of europe. this has manifested in our rugby, and we are constantly playing to a previous disadvanted which we need to fix (like with BEE or quota or something). so no, he is not a 'thug' or a 'cheat'. He is playin the rugby he has learned. we have a proud history of resistance bakkies brings this to the field. he shouldnt deserve half the penalties against him. its just racism against south africans, quite frankly.

He doesn't play much of a kicking game to be fair, but when he puts in those kicks they're usually very good. He had one game this season where he just couldn't find a decent kick anywhere, but i'd say he's got a decent boot. Surely you can't argue with his place kicking either. I think you just don't like the guy. Which is cool. Coz that's what this topic is about! I love the guy personally! Sound guy in person as well.

I dunno what it is, but i just really don't like them. Plus i work at a very popular attraction in Queenstown, NZ...which is where the Irish squad will be staying during the RWC. If they come up to my work I may just get each and everyone of them injured.

It's really only Saffas that don't like him, the rest of us are fairly indifferent, there was a big controversy over there with him at the centre of it, something about the Jake White only picking afrikanners/dutchmen or something like that?

He said the "wearing the Bok jersey makes me want to vomit" thing. Didn't pay too much attention to the circumstances surrounding the whole fracas though. I'm sure someone will enlighten me soon (there seems to be a good amount of opinionated South Africans in this thread)
