First: I wasn't really agreeing with you about Bakkies. He's a thug, and a hipocrite. It's not injustice that he gets banned, he gets banned for intentionally harming players, against the rules. He head butted Cowan, went well off his feet and used his sholder against both Gio Aplon and Adam Jones, bit and eye gouged Brendan Cannon, punched Phil Waugh, and the best part about it is, South Africans often seem to think they are victims. NO, he's a cheat, and a thug. The fact he hasn't had a ban longer than two months is the joke.

Second: Of course I don't hate Afrikaners or condone consentration camps. My post was pointing out what a baseless and stupid suggestion it was.

Third: To say New Zealand have only one won World Cup because South Africa weren't in it, is rubbish, and arrogant. South Africa won in 2007 because they deserved to win, despite not facing Australia or New Zealand.

Its CONCENTRATION camps. You dont spell it with an S

The SA side in 1987 would have been one hell of a side too, and there is some merit to what people say about the All Black win being hollow without the boks there. this forum thread made me feel i have to register just to reply. first off my comrade, south africans ARE victims. we have been exploited since colonialism by your queen and all of europe. this has manifested in our rugby, and we are constantly playing to a previous disadvanted which we need to fix (like with BEE or quota or something). so no, he is not a 'thug' or a 'cheat'. He is playin the rugby he has learned. we have a proud history of resistance bakkies brings this to the field. he shouldnt deserve half the penalties against him. its just racism against south africans, quite frankly.

secondly, the concentration camps were also directed to my countrymen (black zulus) who fought with the boers so we could work side by side in a free republic. the british and commonwelath shud never condone it. eva!

Well, to accuse myself and Bullit of supporting concentration camps, based off nothing, is hardly showing the subject the dignity and respect that you demand now is it?

As for your second point, I guess South Africa's reason for not being at the Rugby World Cup, is really no one elses fault now, is it? The Springboks in 1987 were starved of test matches, and would not have likely made it past the QF's, and their absence doesn't mean they win by defult like some people South African's seem to think. In fact since South Africa's return to pro class rugby, New Zealand has won significantly more matches. The whole "this rubbish needs to die now" seems like a sore and bitter point that you can't take what you give.

I don't want to continue down this path, as there are many members here who are from South Africa and Australia, that aren't prats.

Bakkies goes out to injure players, unrelated to the game, and gets penalised for it. Yes, sometimes he gets pinged a bit harshly but thats the reputation he has earned for himself by himself. Playing the victim doesn't change that. Bringing up concentration camps to staff the victim card is irrelevant. Blaming these members for concentration camps 100 years ago doesn't help and is unfair as I as an Afrikaner also don't like being blamed for Apartheid which i had no part in and which, frankly, my parents had no part in except helping put pressure on a government that had betrayed its peope to change its olicies. Generalisations and accusations along with an unwillingness to face our own demons (in this case Bakkies LOL) isn't helping anything.

So Im a prat because I said that world cups without the best side in world rugby at that time was not at the world cup? Prior to readmission, South Africa had the best record in the game AND they had beaten NZ more than NZ had beaten them. That may have changed over the last few years given South Africas political problems and inability to select its strongest national and provincial sides, but it is hardly arrogant to suggest that world cups missing a powerhouse in the game is hardly a world cup!

Everyone else keeps bringing up the fact that SA did not beat Aus and NZ. Thats because Aus and NZ lost along the way. France knocked out NZ in yet another world cup as NZ choked under pressure. Australia were crap going into that world cup anyway. Jesus, what is their away record looking like against SA at the moment? They have been average for the last 4-5 years.

I cant wait until we can the SANZAR agreement and go north. We get screwed by refs, citing commissions and travel in tournaments despite the fact that we fill our stadiums and generate the most in television revenue. Only to constantly cop it and see us robbed in more games than I care to remember. Brad Thorn gets a week for putting John Smit out for a month, Monty gets a month for spear tackling McCaw who finished the game. Its endless.

If New Zealand had to deal with quota systems it would be screwed. Hell, imagine the NZ government brought in a law that said you needed to make sure that not more than 50% of the side had a Polynesian background. Christ, more than half the side is from the Islands. If you had racially enforced quota systems you would get hammered, while we still win world cups and manage to win the odd tri nations here and there.

Before readmission, SA had beaten NZ more than NZ had beaten it. This was before South Africa was hamstrung by political quotas and you were raping the islands of its players.

Put this into perspective. You think Bakkies is a thug? I think Brad Thorn is a thug, just wearing that black jersey seems to help him get away with murder, just like the kiwi side tends to do.
