Perps to overrun Barcelona in Nou Camp coup shocker!

Apparently Perpignan and Barcelona have agreed a deal to play a game at the 98,000+ Nou Camp stadium.

The deal is still subject to approval from various rugby bodies and Barcelona want gaurantees that the pitch won't be ruined after one single game of Rugby.

Perpignan have long held the desire to play a Heineken Cup quarter final in the Nou Camp. With other French teams (largely successfully) moving games to larger stadiums like Parc des Princes, Stade De France, Stade Velodrome, Stade De Geneve, Estadio Aneota, Stade Chaban-Delmas and the King Baudouin Stadium, it makes sense for Perpignan to follow suit. Hopefully it pays off and in the not too distant future Barcelona can host a Heineken Cup final.
