Ospreys and Wales centre Jonathan Spratt is facing another lengthy spell out after damaging knee ligaments.

The 24-year-old had only recently returned to action after missing most of last season with a back injury.
But the two-cap man was hurt in the Ospreys' first pre-season friendly, Tuesday's 22-58 win over a Regional Select XV in Aberavon.

How he's got two caps, I don't know. He's always injured. Hopefully he'll finally do something worthy of international honours when he gets fit again. Well, if he gets fit again.

Never been that impressed with him tbh. Solid, player but never does anything spectacular. I think Ashley Beck has a much bigger future at the Ospreys, along with the younger  Andrew Bishop.

Actually, Bishop turned 25 a few days ago. It had his DOB in Rugby World, and I was reading it, then said out loud "Happy Birthday Bish!"

However, I agree- He's never looked anything spectactular, a solid enough centre, but nowhere near as solid as Bishop. Still, strength in depth and all that.

He should just go down under and play in the NPC. He was awesome for Taranaki.

Spratt got two well deserved caps, he was on form and despite it being a Lions Tour he got given a chance.

Was at his first cap; didn't seem spectacular, but this guy seems to have had a few injuries and bad luck.

Agree about Beck, certainly a centre for the future.
