This is the first away victory for the Dragons. They play Salford next Saturday and could win at home. They could move upward in the table.

Me? Laugh at Wigan? Being joint bottom? Why would I do something like that? :D;)

:D Due to the rivalry and most of all due to the fact they won everything in the 90`s, mocking you years and years in a row!

Now it`s payback time! :D

Oh it's payback time alright. I cried by eyes out at Wembley in 1989 when I was 4 and they beat us 29-0. Now it's our turn. They won't get relegated unfortunately, but they are providing some great entertainment!

Heysel tragedy: 1985. You cried by eyes out at Wembley in 1989 when you were 4 ! How come you were 1 when Heysel drama occured?

Anyway, what`s happening with Wigan? How come from top nochj team in the mid 90`s they are now on such of poor shape?

I`ve seen some highlights from your game vs Bradford. Not bad, not bad at all!

It was before my 5th birthday, the 30th August 1989 so I was still 4.

Saints are starting to get going in an attacking sense, huge match at Hull on Friday, very hard match. We destroyed Bradford, I was very pleased.

Wigan are just not very good, basically. Team full of mercanaries who just want their money, and Agent Millward doesn't look like he can turn it around.

When you beat Leeds, Bradford (top teams) it`s very unlikely to lose at Hull! Nah, no way, you win there by at least 20 points!

You`ve destroyed Bradford in the second half because in the first half they were very much present in the game, not to mention they lead 4-0 in the beginning!

To be fair I thought the half time scoreline flattered Bradford a bit, they kept the gap close at half time because the referee does not know the rules and sin binned Jason Hooper for nothing, basically.

I'd like to think we'd beat Hull but we keep getting hammered at their ground, we're yet to win there in 4 visits. We've yet to turn up in fact, we normally lose by 40 points......

You told me it`s your 15 year ticket season which i must say it`s bloody amazing. Pls give me an input regarding no of season tickets sold in average. Is it 10,000? More or less? I`ve seen your stadium capacity is about 15,000 (aproximate) and you play each game in front of a full crowd which lead me to the observation that perhaps the club sold 10,000 season tickets? Am i right or am i missing something?

And who else in in top spot regarding most ticket seasons sold? Wigan?

Anyway, my best guess is that it`s more common sence to have a stadium capacity that fited the needs perfectly rather than playing in a stadium of 100,000 and having only 15,000 ppl (the average for Australia) !

Saints' average gate is around 13,000 (it can hold 17,500) and I'd say that about 8,000 of them are season ticket holders.

Wigan, Leeds, Bradford all have bigger crowds, but then again, they are all bigger teams with bigger fan bases. We're a big name but not a big club.

I fully agree with you on the stadium, it's pointless having thousands of empty seats. We're trying to get a new stadium because ours is a dump, but hey, it's our dump.

Yeah, very true, it`s important to have a stadium according to the attendance! IMO, after seeing the average attendance in RL and RU (both UK) - very close, around 10-12000 per game, a stadium of 15-20000 is the best choice.

In Australia i`ve read an article (it must be here on this site) about attendance in NRL - same, around 15,000 / game (but to give them credit, they have more teams, more games than you) ! Imagine a 15,000 crowd in a 100,000 seats stadium! It`s 15% - looks like ****!

If Wigan get relegated it would have detremental effects on St.Helens.
