Plenty of reviews of PES4 to be found on the net now - a lot of people have the beta - and some say (as they always do this close to release) they have an early release.
Just some things that have been confirmed..........
#Stutter bug is still there when playing on certain tv settings, camera views and stadiums - though not as noticeable as on WE8....
#Player transfers are up to date till the last couple of days of trading, thus Rooney is still at Everton for example.......(easy to fix).
#Nothing appears to have been added to WE8 for PES4, however most people have said it plays a little faster (hopefully not TOO fast).
Overall the reviews have been extremely positive, so roll on the days!!!!!!!! (of course us NZLers we have to wait a wee bit longer then you Europeans.........)

i waited for winning eleven 8 game so impatiently ....but it disappointed me at all!!!! i hope pes 4 will be better. my humble opinion

I played FIFA 2004 on PC, if PES 4 could get those liscences... Its like watching a TV Broadcast - even those signs on the edge of the pitch are authentic, it had adverts for things like McDonalds, it sure makes for a cracking in game atmosphere.

Konami of Europe has announced the PlayStation 2 version of its eagerly-awaited Pro Evolution Soccer 4 will be released on October 15th. Versions for Xbox and PC-DVD will follow in November.
The release of Pro Evolution Soccer 4 is rightly seen as one of the high points of the gaming year. Each new installment delivers ever more realistic football action, and Pro Evolution Soccer 4 is easily the most accurate and intuitive football game for any system. The new game has also enjoyed a number of major additions, including the use of 56 clubs under the license from the Spanish and Dutch leagues and each club from the Italian league, and will also feature three of the game's most recognizable figures on its packaging, in the form of Premiership Golden Boot holder Thierry Henry and Italy's prolific front man, Francesco Totti. They are joined by Pierluigi Collina â€" the internationally respected match official â€" who also appeared on the packaging for Pro Evolution Soccer 4's predecessor.
"Each year, the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise gets bigger and bigger, and the launch of Pro Evolution Soccer 4 represents possibly the biggest advance for the series to date," commented Martin Schneider, European Marketing & PR Director for Konami of Europe. On PESInsight it had a picture of The new UK Playstation 2 mag, had a Playable demo of PES4, and the review for not only PES4 but also FIFA 05, wouldn't mind that magazine, but probably can't buy it here in NZ. Has a big picture of Henry on the cover. St.Helens or Locks have you had the chance to pick up this mag?
Apparantly Fifa 2005 got 8/10 and Pro Evo 4 10/10.

pfft. Serie A. You must be taking the mick. Its a pile of drivel. Players walk around with the ball, la liga is only slightly better. Premiership is the best by a mile. Best players, fast, entertaining football and brilliant atmospheres at the games. In Italy its still like the 70s over here with all the pathetic crowd violence. GROW UP!!
