Nick Cummins out of the WC, he will play in Japan

I really think he is underrated as a player and would be the first on the Australian team sheet for me. He is an out and out finisher, not only a hard runner. Quite like Digby Ioane but with a bit more skill.

It is certainly admirable what he is doing.

Western Force and Wallabies winger Nick Cummins to join Japanese club Coca Cola West Red Sparks for 2015

WALLABIES cult figure Nick Cummins will quit Australian rugby to play in Japan next year, ruling himself out of the World Cup.

Cummins, known as the Honey Badger, will join Japanese Top League club Coca Cola West Red Sparks despite being contracted to the ARU until the end of 2015:

I hope they make him lose the hippie headband, the cheesy mustache, and the horrible nickname.

Otherwise, he's an okay guy, I suppose. :)

he does make some really funny comments. For most people in Rugby circles, being funny means cracking up nice, greasy old as$ thick jokes. This guy has some weird random shiit at times, really funny. I do think the Wallabies definitely lose a whole lot of charisma with him gone. He undeniably brought a lot of confidence to the guys and is the perfect instance of "the locker room guy".

I'd love to hear some of his comments - never heard any myself. So, there...I just gave you a job to do. :)

I think he should remain eligible for the wallabies under special Circumstances or something.

I think hes being underrated here as well as others say. I think he should have played a lot more tests than he has. Wallabies need more players like him and less with fancy haircuts and tattoos if they want to be a more consistent side.

I don't think I've seen a player trip up in open space more than Nick Cummins. He runs hard and straight, but I don't think he's a moderately special player.

It is a rather unique skill he possess. I remember two weeks a row during the Super Rugby season (once was against the Highlanders) he tackled himself with the line open!

Adam Frier had it right on ABC's "Offsiders" on Sunday I thought, when he said he's not in the top category of wingers in the country but he was a character that people loved and got fans more involved in the game.

In terms of his talent i'm a little conflicted, on one hand I think hes a little limited but on the other he doesn't do a lot wrong and scores tries, something that every team needs. Also his personality is invaluable in terms of PR but also within the squad bonding.

Nonu??

His personality and charisma will be just as much a loss for Aus. Rugby is having a hard time over there and when you look in the crown at Force matches their are so many wigs and people being him.

He has brought attention to the code that it desperately needed.
