Damn. No, I... the ref.. erm. Timing. Weather! I deny those games ever happened.

Lol, I do think it has to be taken into account the opposition. It will be harder to Australia to win alot against NZ/SA, where as France/England/Ireland/Wales will get at least two wins out of Scotland/Italy in the six nations.

1.I realise I may have a bias, but I'd rate Woodcock (in good form) as the best tighthead in the world, and at the beggining of last year I wasn't alone on this. He isn't in best form atm but he was ill for alot of last season so he could well be getting back up there at least equal to Genkins.
2.du Plessis is better then Servat...so is Hore and Mealamu. Not Moore.
3.Jones<Carl Hayman when he returns.
4.Botha/Jack/Thorn=Nallet.
5.Matfield/Wiliams > O'Connell (tick).
6.Elsom/Smith = Ferris (no comment).
7.McCaw/Brussouw > Dusautoir > Pocock
Lobbe/Spies = Parisse/Harinordoquy/Heaslip (Lobbe I'd rate most consistantly good #8. NH members, and forgive me for saying this, get hard over players who have one good season and then they are "the best". Parisse is the only number 8 who has consistantly been of a high standard).
9.du Preez/Genia > meh. Fair enough
10.Carter > Wilkinson, Sexton, O'Gara, Parks, Trin Duc, Gower, Cipriani. (I felt the need to name them individually) I'd also say Giteau is probably better then anyone from that list. Morne is = to Sexton.
11.Habana = Williams/Heymans. Interesting call but probably a good one.
12.Giteau/Nonu = Jauzion/Roberts. Sorry but Roberts is over rated.
13.Smith/Fourie < O'Driscoll (this is only true if it is O'Driscol. Mathieu Bastareaud<Smith/Fourie
14.Sivivatu > Bowe (Cause Bowe is over rated. If the Irish's opinions of Bowe were an accurate measurment then Bowe>All Black starting lineup.
15.Hernandez/Muliaina/Jane = Kearney/Byrne (It is note worthy that Jane may be the better Fullback then Mils).

Overall I think your original was a pretty fair assessment however there did seem to be a hint of appeasment about it. Good list all the same.

Nick, I respect your opinion but I would refer you to my signature in regards to Tommy Bowe. Look at that mighty moustache, what a figure of manhood.

It'll be better once puberty kicks in.

On a slightly different note, I don't think Bowe is a bad winger. I'd say he is even good. Doug Howlett (in his prime) good even. He's just not as amazing as some people make him out to be. On a different note, I'll stay off Bowe if everyone stays off Umaga *looks at Jer1cho*.

I'll do my own.

1. Jenkins > Woodcock, but only just.
2. du Plessis & Brits are both 10x better than John 'Only in the team because I'm Captain' Smit. They're also better than Servat and Szarzewski, who are the only other hookers remotely close.
3. Hayman doesn't count. No tighthead besides Adam Jones consistently performs at a high level in internationals, however.
4. Botha and Jack > Nallet, and Shaw for that matter.
5. Matfield > O'Connell.
6. Ferris, Dusautoir, Juan Smith, Elsom, are all outstanding players.
7. McCaw & Brussow> anyone else. Though Burger, George Smith and Pocock deserve a mention.
8. Parisse > Harinordoquy > Heaslip > Fernandez > Spies > everyone else.
9. du Preez > Genia > anyone. Phillips is ok.
10. Carter > the world.
11. Shane Williams = Habana
12. Giteau. Giteau. Giteau. Far rather have him in my team than Jauzion, Nonu and D'Arcy. The world's most overrated player, Jamie Roberts, doesn't come close.
13. O'Driscoll > Conrad Smith > Jaques Fourie > the rest.
14. On current form, Bowe > Sivivatu. At his best, Sivi's the man. Vincent Clerc is a class act and I rate Corey Jane.
15. Muliaina > Byrne > Kearney > Ashley-Cooper > the rest.

So, my NH side:

1. Gethin Jenkins
2. William Servat
3. Adam Jones
4. Lionel Nallet
5. Paul O'Connell
6. Stephen Ferris
7. Thierry Dusautoir
8. Sergio Parisse
9. Mike Phillips
10. Johnny Sexton
11. Shane Williams
12. Gordon D'Arcy
13. Brian O'Driscoll
14. Tommy Bowe
15. Lee Byrne

my SH side:

1. Tony Woodcock
2. Bismarck du Plessis
3. Ben Alexander
4. Bakkies Botha
5. Victor Matfield
6. Rocky Elsom
7. Richie McCaw
8. Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe
9. Fourie du Preez
10. Dan Carter
11. Bryan Habana
12. Matt Giteau
13. Conrad Smith
14. Sitiveni Sivivatu
15. Mils Muliaina

NH has the upper hand in the scrums, SH in the lineouts, SH at the breakdown, SH at goalkicking, SH in the midfield, SH in the back 3.

Southern Hemisphere wins.

Great post. At least Lekso and yourself don't have their heads deep in the sand. What is the point in defending your Hemisphere when it's obvious that the SH is the better rugby hemisphere.

It's called being one-eyed :p

This is something I don't understand. Who really gives a **** about other teams in their hemisphere? I want Ireland to win every game they play; I couldn't care less about other nations results. Not for one second did I think "Yes! Chalk one up for the NH" when England (deservedly) won the World Cup. Does a Kiwi cheer when Australia or South Africa win against a 6 Nations country or when another member of Sanzar wins the World Cup? I hazard a guess that they don't.

I love my hemisphere; I'd die for my hemisphere............what a load of ********.

Can somebody remind me of a time when rugby was supposed to be a high-scoring sport?

Like when England put 140 points on Romania?

Some Super 14 scores this weekend:
Brumbies 24-13 LionsChiefs 18-23 Reds
Crusaders 33-20 Blues

The 72-65 scoreline was a freak result.
