Yep. The sad thing is that it was an improvement....

The team badly needs Levy and less conservative play calling.

Saw on nfl.com today Golden Tate says defences are calling their plays before the snap. Didn't see Sundays game so dunno if that rings true or not.

And Feic, I agree with your view on Gronk (superhuman) and Amendola but disagree on Edelman. In the slot I don't know m(any) better. Any team would love him in their team and he'd be a focal point there too. He's from the same mould as Wes Welker and we know what he achieved with NE and Denver.

I'm the same regards Edelman. I think he's a top WR and his movement and timing is brilliant.

Edelman is the reason, well one of them, that Amendola isn't featuring as much

Edelman isn't in the same league as Wes Welker. Sander, Cobb and (a fit) Cruz are all comfortably better slot receivers.

I don't know. He's certainly a lot better than you rate him. Those others mentioned may be better in some eyes but Edelman certainly deserves to be in that bracket at top table

Edelman is Brady's check down guy. Brady throws short a lot, his slot receivers will always look good. Edelman is a great fit for the system, but I don't think he's an elite talent by any means. Good wide receiver, but not WR1 category for a team competing for a Super Bowl unless you have a fantastic quarterback. I'd say his numbers will go down when LaFell comes back.

But look at others. Take Welker for example. He's a talented guy. But it has helped he's had Manning and Brady as his QB a lot. I disagree on Edelman. He's a different style WR but still an effective one. He always reminds me of a guy who could've been a top rugby winger or fullback. It's that type of movement he has.

On a side note anyone see Arizona I think it was in the colleges doing the haka before a game.

Also Feicarsinn, Edelmen was previously a Quarterback throughout high school and a little bit of college and the transition to WR was difficult and you have to consider that he is doing well as a WR. But I agree with you that he isn't up to the standards of a Calvin Johnson or a Dez Bryant. People say a lot of things and I believe he will be a top WR in the NFL in the future. People said that Elway was too strong and didn't have any finesse. People said that Brett Favre was a bust when he was in Atlanta. People critised Peyton for not having the arm strength but that didn't seem to matter. We have to respect Eldeman and give some time for him to develop into a top WR .

Also with Brady, Just wait until Week 11 where the Patriots play the Broncos. I bet you that Brady will go 10-24 , 2TD and 70 yards. The Pats will win that game because of playmakers like Gronk and Edelman. If you ask why Brady is going to play bad. Two people – Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware

Julian Edelman 2015 Stats (so far)
30 Receptions 279 Yards 2 TDs
Emmanuel Sanders 2015 Stats
22 Receptions 239 Yards 2 TDs

Probably a bit of an exaggeration but I can see where he's coming from. I can guess what we're doing on most plays so I'm sure Wade Philips definitely can. Despite having possibly the deep ball threat and one of the strongest arms in the NFL we have only attempted 4 passes that have gone more than 20 yards in the air. Makes it so much easier for the defense.

At 29 he's not exactly a developing player. I don't particularly care about what the reason he is for not being top class either, I just stated that he wasn't. The Patriots don't have a top wide receiver and yet Brady makes it work.

As for playmakers like Gronk and Edelman pulling Brady through? I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's not the QB who's been to 6 superbowls and won 4 that needs pulling through at all.

Just watch the game 10-24 may seem a bit exaggerated but i predict that he will go bad
Just remember two people- Von Miller and Demarcus Ware

So far the Pats have demolished teams with poor pass rushers (Buffalo and Jacksonville)

Also the Superbowl part 6 Apperances and 4 wins Let me make a point (Brady doesn't deserve the MVP x3)

XXXVI- Adam Vinatieri kicked the winning Field Goal
XXXVIII- Adam Vinatieri Winning Field Goal (brady 2Tds)
XXXIX- Mixed effort (Vinatieri FG and Corey Dillion TD Brady 2TDS)
XLII- LOST
XLVI-LOST
XLIX- Malcolm Butler Interception

Today I learned;

Cincinnatti are good
Miami are not (although I knew that already)

It's a shame that Bush is back, we won't get to see any of Hayne at RB.

Awesome play from Patton.

Starting to click on offense now.

49ers are a very poor side right now. Not sure how you guys feel but I don't feel NFL is very entertaining compared to Rugby Union.
