Tool are overated

Tool are only overrated to those people who think that Fall Out Boy are a good hard rock band. Tool go beyond music. Their lyrics are amazing, the meanings behind their lyrics/music is amazing, their music itself is amazing, the spiritual stuff that they include in their music is amazing, the individual musicians are amazing.

Im not going to ask you to give it a listen because you already have it in your head that Tool aren't a good band so you wont be able to appreciate the things that i just mentioned.

Also i would like to add that i too have a copied version (cheers Neck) of Nirvana: Unplugged in New York and it is one of my favourite albums [/b]
For some reason I picture you as one of those guys with a half moustache/ half beard?

Tool isn't stoner music
and Dave Grohl is an average drummer compared to Danney Carey from Tool...although Grohl did own in Probot 'Shake your blood'

(and 'compared' is in bold because Grohl is a good drummer compared to pretty much anyone else. so yeah i sorta agree with your last statement)

YOU DONT NO WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT! Tool is not stoner music although they have experimented with hilusinegenic drugs. This however does not mean they make stoner music. Like Bill Hicks says on the track "Third Eye"
"You see, I think drugs have done some good things for us. I really do. And if you don't believe drugs have done good things for us, do me a favour. Go home tonight. Take all your albums, all your tapes and all your CDs and burn them. 'Cause you know what, the musicians that made all that great music that's enhanced your lives throughout the years ... rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreal f***ing high on drugs."

And Tool is Stoner Music.
i think we'd better back off from Ripper, jinxed. he/she is obviously way more knowledgable about Tool than we are. he/she must be a huge fan and understand Tool enough to say that they are stoner music. he/she must spend all his/her time analysing Tool because we are wrong when we say what Tool really are. he/she is so far above us that should be making shrines in his/her name because of his/her vast knowlege of Tool

...by the way i was being sarcastic

and thats a good Hicks quote off a good Tool song jinxed

Thanks mono, but yeah okay then ripper ill back off now, but i think we all know the truth.

so, as usual, the true Tool fans come out on top.
i was talking to neck before saying that its funny how this topic has sorta gone away from what it was originally about so....
....has anyone seen the new Pearl Jam videoclip? its the one for Life Wasted. its pretty good

Yep, I did say that I'd buy it if I liked what I heard. I only plan to dl the videos, to see if I like the music.

Even then I usually buy music videos on dvd when they come out too.

Hope I have the right to find out if I like it, or I'd never hear it and make up my mind to buy it.
