Hi Gents,

Kaliq here... 30yo "old boy" from Portland, Oregon. I am a life-long front rower (though I spent some time as a loose forward in my faster days). In my years of playing Rugby I have been able to play almost every position (Fullback is the exception).

In addition to playing, I have started the slow transition from player to coaching. While captaining my side, I have also been asked to assist with coaching both the U17 and U19 select sides in my area.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to some good rugby discussion and to hopefully learn some more about the game.

Cheers!

Hi, i'm atreides7887. A recently graduated ex-student. I had to play rugby in secondary school, and absolutly despised it. It wasn't until I came to University and got regualr access to sky sports I started to enjoy it and the obsession has steadily grown. A bristol supporter (as thats the hometown).

Not sure what else to say, expect hello.

Hey all, just posting the required first thread.

i am an Aussie, and I follow the Brissy Bronco's, QLD Reds'. I like both codes of footy and soccor as well. Not a fan of the Aussie Rules though, just find it boaring.

I am in the Navy, so at the moment I dont get to go and see many games.

Well that is about all there is for me.

Cheers

Ben

Jonathan here, 22 years old from Northern MB, Canada. New to Rugby, fell in love with the sport and think it is the best, ever... for the last six months all I've done is breath Rugby. I have only played a few games in my life (with a friends pickup teams down south) and don't play in any league but am currently trying to get rugby played in my home town here and hopefully establish a small 2-4 team league of our own. I'm 6'0" tall, 273lbs and prefer the Tighthead prop position. Online friends of mine tell me I have potential at the position having a broad, short back, thick strong neck and short stocky legs, able to squat 450lbs for reps. Big Ireland, All Blacks, Scotland and Munster supporter though I usually have a hard time watching games live and end up having to download them or have friends record for me. I love a good pint of Guinness or Newcastle and a pipe of nice tobacco when relaxing, really glad to be here and looking forward to meeting some good folks and learning even more about the sport, it's history, the players and technique.

Thanks all.
