What team do you support?: I DONT KNOW! someone help me lol i am soo undecided...should i bother with northern hemisphere (if so i think i am going for leinster or bristol rovers!) or stick to Southern Hemisphere and do the Super 14 club route...you know fan boy Habana supporter type lol...everyone is telling me to do that!

I am relatively new to Rugby and thus have no affiliation other than being an Argentina NT supporter as i am a HUGE argentina football fan! Anyone have suggestions i would love to hear em! >.<

Do you play?: I am starting this thursday! i am going to join my local college team...i mean i am built for it i am 192 cm and 18 stones or so (260 pounds)...i think i ll enjoy playing Lock...maybe #4 since i am left handed and it would help on scrums etc....I would love also any feedback as to what positions are fun and why and what skill sets do they require!

Well considering the lack of teams in the US, it would probably be acceptable to follow several teams. That'll give you a chance to enjoy both the NH and SH seasons.

Just a minor point by the way, Bristol don't have the 'Rovers' tag. That's one of their football teams. They're just know as Bristol Rugby.

Usually I'd try and persuade people to support my team (Northampton Saints), but we aren't remotely fashionable, especially at the moment. We're not even in the top English division this season for example, although we're on the way back up.

My advice would be to just watch as much rugby as possible, and see which teams you enjoy seeing the most. No substitute for sheer quantity when you're just starting out with a whole new sport I think.

agreed that is what i did when i started following football after the world cup...and yet i find football easier to follow via streams and Fox Soccer Channel and some other channels....rugby on the hand is nearly impossible to watch in the states...i found a stream site for Rugby World Cup but for the seasons i have no idea :/
