Naughty Chiefs fans

I had an Exeter fan try to start a fight with me when I watched the wasps Exeter Euro quarter final.

I've never experienced anything like that before. Really changes the way I thought of Exeter fans even though I know it was two people.

Said in the article it was Bristol fans fighting amongst themselves. How many times in the last 10 years have Exeter fans been a problem?

The Article says Exeter fans.

One tweet from an exeter supporter says it was bristol infighting but nothing else i have read backs him up.

Have heard of one or two incidences at sandy park but that is the same with every ground.

Obviously Bristol are trying to get more fans to follow them from joining the Premiership, because a Bristol football supporter who didn't know how to behave?

Any time I've been to an Exeter there's been no trouble.

What has football got to do with it?

Or are you stating that if any fighting happens it must be because some football fans are in attendance.

It's that type of comment that actually ****s me off, it only encourages the us and them mindset that happens between the two and League.

Hopefully they can deal with this properly if they've got CCTV - being a football stadium too I imagine they've got decent shots of the crowd with the cameras

Currently the article doesn't discriminate would was involved, most likely both teams' fans.

Await to see the results of the investigation, but whoever is involved should be banned from rugby grounds for a good decade.

Being a football ground means that Brizz will be fully fluent in correct procedures here, including police involvement if necessary

Yep. Hard line punishment required for all involved, and quickly.

Spoke to a friend at the game near the incident. Culprits seemed to be a Stag do group from Exeter who got a bit carried away with the result and multiple beers. He did state that he very much doubts these are regular attendees at Cheifs games.

Have to say my only experience of Chiefs fans inside a rugby stadium were a bunch of early 20 somethings. ****** up to hell, kept elbowing me throughout the game and relentlessly took the pics put of some little kid. To the extent the mother told them to stop being *****.

So yeah it was totally against most rugby crowds I've known.

However in equal measure I had a nice conversation with a fan in his late 40's on the way home.

But yeah quite a few were pretty much out on the **** at the train station too. But I don't go to gamesleep that often so maybe this is common?
