Munster v Blues

Well MunsterMan - Coughlan didn't make team but neeeded a rest and that was part of selection there.
Agreed too on Varley being Irelands best option at 2 and very strong and comfortable on the ball this season.

Coonor yes we had alot of possession in the 1st half but 3 points from the amout of chance we had is poor (considering we didn't score until 39th min)
Niall Ronan really disappointed me today and seemed like he just didn't turn up today. Leamy really was immense and lead the team well.
Paulie came back and well we have built him up and well he has the bit of weight back for first time in years and that could be a benefit as he seemed that bit stronger than before.

If I was to predict the team for next Sunday it will possibly be along lines of:
1. Du Preez
2. Varley
3. Buckley
4. DOC
5. MOD
6. Quinny
7. Wally
8. Leamy
9. Stringer
10. ROG
11. Murphy
12. Tuitupou
13. Earls
14. Douggie
15. Warwick

16. Sherry
17. Dave Ryan
18. The Bull
19. Paulie
20. Coughlan
21. TOL
22. Mafi
23. Denis Hurley

That would be my rough guess but it has been discussed possibly having just TOL and Hurley/Mafi on bench as only 2 backs with Donnacha Ryan the other forward.
I feel Denis is unlucky to loose out on wing as he is playing well in general while Mafi has been poor in fairness since JDV came last season.

I'd rather have Barry Murphy than Mafi anyway. I agree Mafi isn't as good as he was. I think MOD was good last night and deserves to keep his spot but as the season goes on I'd like to see him get faded out and our first choice locks as POC and DOC with Donnacha ryan on the bench(unless he moves to the back row).

He is back.

Have some of that!

POC will eventually be back as a starter coonor but he has to ease himself in. And great pic MunsterMan :) remember that part of game perfectly ha

Don't know whats better, the fact POC just sen somebody flying back or the fact that that somebody kicked his teammate in the mouth.

I remember it well, why couldn't he adopt a body position like that taking the ball into contact before his injury? :p Classic O'Connell manic agression, more of the same please!

Well while Paulie was injured he was made work on putting a bit of weight on while also maintaing his atlethism. Add in that he is driven by fear of missing long periods again and that is why we are seen a side to him that was missing before the injury
