Munster rule out any HEC challenge for the next four years.

I'd kidnap GJ and plant him in the Llanelli boardroom, just to give them all a fright :D

A lot of people seem to have short memories on this forum and forget what a great job he did over the years at LLanelli. They aint done much without him have they?

Spot on. Jenkins may have been out of his depth with Wales but he did an excellent job with Llanelli/The Scarlets. He should have taken them to at least one Heineken Cup final and made Stradey an intimidating place to go for all sides, something which they lost under Phil Davies. As a number two, Jenkins could be a brilliant addition to the Munster ranks. Apparently Leinster are also looking to add him to their coaching team.

A little reminder also that he did a good job when coaching the Lions midweek forwards before, I reckon hes a great lub coach but can't make it at international level!

Making a European semi-final isn't much then? Nor winning all six pool matches including Toulouse and Celtic champions Ulster? This season we've been terrible, but to say we've done little under PD is absurd.

IMO Davies was living off the back of Jenkins work with that semi final. Cantsee why you are so down on Jenks as he is a good coach and a good man with the Scarlets in his blood which means a lot.

Well it means a lot, but he lived and breathed Wales aswell, and his naiveity (sp?) cost us dearly last year. So whatever, say what you wish about what he did with Llanelli years ago, but I think bringing him back right now would be a giant step backwards.

Going back is not always a good thing but surely Scarlets fans owe the man some respect and gratitude?

Yes we do and he gets that off us, but there's no way in hell we'll want him back now.
