I learnt a thing yesterday - apparently, introducing Ali as "my first wife" isn't as funny as I thought it would be (TBH, as I still think it is).

Dog’s had a long walk and minor hangover cleared. Bah Humbug Santa hat is at the ready. Now to peel a mountain of spuds before the masses arrive….may need to open a little something to dull the pain. Too early for brandy?

Gone to my hometown on the other side of Australia. Got here Friday which was probably too early with Christmas on a Thursday so driving distance visitors won't be getting here until today. Far fewer people on the beach last night (23rd) than I would've expected.
