Memorable Moments

Nice Lazy_chesanut and i play in normal and i dont win 50-0 i guess we are in the same position you can see i barely beat the Wallabies with the Pumas must have been a miracle
<
looks like a good game lad

what are these here "tricks"? i can win 50-0 on easy, but on normal the scpres are usually much closer and lower.

just got the game and have plenty of memorable moments already. but the best one having just taken place. A sunny day in lansdowne road, ireland versus pacific islanders. Ireland fought well for most of the match and going into injury time were up 14 to 3, time for one last attack. huge irish pressure comes to nothing as desperate PI defence causes a turnover. The PI outhalf hacks it down field to relieve the pressure only for the george best of rugby, geordan murphy, to field it on the irish ten meter line. The field open in front of him geordan takes off, cutting inside the first PI defender with a deft sidestep he then puts down the throttle as he closes in on the try line two pacific islander defenders close in on him only for geordan to drop his shoulder into the fullback carrying him over the try line with him from 5 meters out. Trytime!
there'll be plenty to more to come

go to the screenshots section of rugbydownloads.bizhat.com to see my story.

It's got pretty pictures as well!
I enjoyed that. Encore! [/b]
Maybe I'll set up a stories section on my site.

People could send me their matches and I'll put them up?

What does everyone think of that?

WoW!!!!what a try!!
Ok My Line Out(Stormers) give it to the front jumper(Whiteman) gets it comes down and i maul it i advance a couple of meters to their 22 my Scrum Half(benjamin(ME)) give it a little kick into the ingoal Perpignans Fullback misses and here comes my winger(Chantana(my friend)) charging down the line and dives on it before the fullbacks does after getting up TRY!!!STORMERS!!it was great

i was aussies v england in the demo

i was leading 12 - 0 with 5 minutes on the clock when one of there centres i cant remember his name. greenwood if hes in it sprinted the length of the field and scored under the sticks.

12 - 7 they attacked off the kick off and got into my 22 when the hooter went. my defence was solid, i was playing for bout 15 mins after it went, they had the ball the whole time. then wilikinson got through and scored in the corner, and kicked it. i couldnt believe it.

i just did this literally 10 seconds ago... reds vs. chiefs im the reds. full time, and im down 10-12. chiefs toss it out of a ruck and right as their flyhalf is going to kick it out of touch, elton flatley dives in and tackles him. chris latham picks it up and sprints for the line, dummies the wing, who doesnt fall for it! right before latham falls, he flicks it out to wendell sailor! sailor shoulder charges a chief and sprints for the corner, he's tackled on the five by two people but no wait he slides and its a beauuuuuutiful game winning try in the corner. I am god.

this game rules. also, being up by five on the 80th minute and holding back assaults on the tryline from within the 5m line for several minutes.... intenseeeee
can u off load as your falling 2 the ground???

I was playing South Africa, Tri-Nations 2005, Normal Diff. Opening Game. The boks started like a house on fire with two tries in the first half. Half time score 14-0 to SA. The second half belonged to Australia, Larkem scored a drop goal early on and the Aussies follwed up with two quick tries. Score SA 14-17 AUS. 5 min left and SA are on the attack driving the ball upfeild phase after phase. In typical south african style they turn the ball over. Larkem kicks upfeild Burger takes the kick and a ruck forms (time up) the ball gets passed out wide to Habana who breaks down the side line, he draws the fullback and passes inside to Joubert who scores under the posts. Monty converts Final score SA 21-17 AUS.
WHAT A GAME.

My first time playing with Caucau.

Fiji v Samoa at the south pacific stadium. Samoa start the match kicking off to me, deep into my 22 but towards the backs and the touchline. Vunibaka catches it and immediately shoulders through one tackle before passing it off to Caucau, who takes it just before crossing our own 22.

And then I hit the sprint button. Run around one guy, inside another and never looked back. Fast try made even faster with Rupes.

This was on Hard mode. Caucau crossed over once more along with Vunibaka and Fiji won it 19 - 3.

Finally used a grubber to good advantage.

Wales v. NZ in the World Cup final.

Jones passed it out to Henson about 10 metres out.

Henson looked like he was going to be closed down.

I kicked a quick grubber between two defenders.

Ran past them as they turned and fell on the ball for 5.

My 3rd game on Hard mode, first game I had to quit at half-time I was getting beaten that badly, 2nd game I was munched aswell, only scoring a dropgoal... so I thought I'd give it one more go...

Ireland v England, Lansdowne Rd...

7 mins on the clock, no score in the game, I take the ball up to near the 40 metre line with the pack on the far right side of the field, playing plenty of crash ball to keep possession and tie up any extra England players. Stringer spreads the ball from the ruck out to O'Gara, who begins a flat run to allow the centres to receive the ball on the go...
the England defence is flying towards me, first pass to O'Driscoll (O'Driscoll then hammered by a big tackle) is flicked to D'arcy, another first time pass thrown, missing out Murphy at fullback who had joined the line before D'arcy is also smashed... the ball is soaring towards Hickie (with Foley on his shoulder) on the wing just in front of the 22, 5 yards from the touchline, with an England player about to tackle when the ball is received...
BOOM ... Hickie is smashed ... but somehow I have managed to hit L1 quick enough to fire a pop pass to Foley who is hugging the touchline... there's England backs chasing like mad, they're all faster then him!... Foley has to sprint from the 22 to the line... and he makes it !!!! Try to Ireland in the corner !!!

If it had not been 5:30am I would have shouted and jumped like mad as though it were a real match on TV... but I had to control myself
<
... I'd just scored a great try on HARD mode, this mode was now officially playable!!! ...

Missed the following conversion tho, but a drop goal, 2 converted tries and a penalty followed during the game for me to eventually win 25 - 13 ... and I've played on Hard mode ever since

i know m8! im goin straight after school to town and gettin it, its gonna be so good!! i just wanna munch someone and then make a massive comeback or score the winning try in the dying minutes!!

If it had not been 5:30am . . .
Raz, I too have seen the 5am hour because of this game. Twice, in fact, since first playing it last Wednesday night.

I just scored a beauty on the demo. i was england and it was nearing the end of the second half and i was losing 10 points to 7 all my backs kept getting hammered whenever they tried to break away finally managed to get the ball to wilkinson who kicked it short across field (got the idea 2 try it after someone asked about chip kicks in the forum) the ball was gonna land just over the try line and jason robinson jumped up and caught but was tackled in mid-air and landed wrong side of the try line but the ref played on. then i think it was balshaw (by this time i was getting rather excited) picked up the ball and dived over the try line to give me the lead. i missed the conversion kick but still won the game 12 points to 10

I am picking it up at 10 am sharp (PS2) w. the sony component cables...on thursday.

Less than 48 hrs......OMG!!

I have actually cleaned up the games room already - folded bed back into couch, vacuumed, even bought some beers and put them in the chiller! I wiped down the widescreen and cleaned dust off every plug on ever device....I went through the system of how I will attach the plugs and what the set up is in the browser menu of the PS2.

Nothing has been left to chance..

I am dying here!!!
<

Sorry, off topic I know...but I just had to let Caps know how jealous I am!
