Mauger was a good player and it's a shame that his career is over due to injury. Revelling in a player's misfortune isn't particularly funny or classy.

Shame to see a good player having to quit through injury.
Honestly though, I didn't really see him making any sort of recovery. He would have been a peripheral figure had he gone back to NZ, and Leicester have been getting on fine without him.
