So after Tom Croft got injured, Leicester have bolstered their ranks signing the impressive new young Argentine flanker Pablo Matera. Matera becomes their 13th international forward in the squad and 5th international back rower along with an Australia A and Saxons back rower. How many other sides would be able to find enough room under the salary cap to sign an international quality player? Others would be forced to delve into the Championship or a Tier 2 nation for a cheap signing, but Leicester get a player who has started all Argentina's RC matches and been doing well against the world's best. The Tigers cheating is becoming a joke now, they have probably the best squad on paper of any team in the league and decent depth as well yet can still sign first choice Tier 1 internationals to it mid season.
