Hi every one!

I am doing some research for my degree and just wondered if you guys could kindly help out and shed some light on some questions I have?

They are as follows:
Why do you go to your home ground to watch?
What is good about your clubs home games?
What is bad/could be done better?
Your opinions on ticket prices/
General opinions when you travel to away games

Thanks in advance for your help!

kind regards

james

Hi,

Hope this helps you a bit:
I'm going to watch home games so I can support my team, have the opportunity to watch live sports and hang out with friends.
The atmosphere is one of the key reasons to go to a home game, as well as meeting up with the girls cheering for any of the teams.
For some games the logistics could have been done better, e.g. taking care of parking space, queuing to get in, not even ground staff to help out at the bars, catering.
Ticket prices are perfect, I always use my student card to get in as I keep on taking on courses every year.
I'm not really going to away games as it are mostly friends who remember me there is a home game on or not.

Cheers.

Why do you go to your home ground to watch?
To watch the rugby. Not sure how else to answer that one. Not being smart but that is the reason I go.

What is good about your clubs home games?
The banter in the crowd, watching decent rugby, getting out away from the kids for a few hours. Regardless of where you are sitting the view is good.

What is bad/could be done better?
The poxy stadium announcer bleating on about every sponsor has become pretty pathetic. So much so that the fans were recently thanks for making Leinster rugby the "product" that it is.

Your opinions on ticket prices
Very affordable, quite reasonable.

General opinions when you travel to away games
Thoroughly enjoy em, but I dont get to travel as much as I like. I try to get to two games a year away from home. They are expensive trips, the opposition fans are always very welcoming, look forward to them.

Why do you go to your home ground to watch?
I prefer to eb at the matches than watch on tele

What is good about your clubs home games?
I live 5 minutes from the RDS so it's easy to get to and I enjoy the atmosphere, particularly in Heineken Cup matches

What is bad/could be done better?
I have no real complaints. The RDS has proven to be a fine stadium for Lenister and is a huge improvement on Donnybrook

Your opinions on ticket prices?
Fine. Affordable. I have a season ticket which wasn't too expensive

General opinions when you travel to away games
Only been once. To watch Muster thrahs Lenister in Thomond. Was scary
