Magner's League Grand Final - Munster Vs Leinster

Cant for the life of me see how the team will be able to focus on anything for the next few days. I'm sure they will give it a go, and I'll be there to see it but I'd be surprised if they brought anythign close to their "A" game. Then again they should only need a B or C game to win this one.

I agree with ye and as I said we won't win, and well our goals are simply - score a try and stay within 7-10 points. After that we are content. :)

I suspect Joe Schmidt will freshen up the Leinster team significantly. Van der Merwe, Boss, Jennings and McFadden will probably come into the starting XV with Wright also standing a chance of starting this one. The benefit of building a bigger squad is coming to the fore. What a season. Time to cap it with another trophy.

Snoop I think ye can safely add ML '11 to the cabinet too. If ye just half scrummage against us that will earn that battle hands down. Our lineout has been dodgy as of late and our backs still seem slightly clueless and add in we have alot of legs past 30 with confidence not as high. We will only stay close at best and that is big ask.

munster are awful it just shows how low the standard of competition in the magners league is if a team who lost in the quarter final of the challenge cup can get to the grand final.

You never did, but acknowledging it now all of a sudden terrifies me :p

I reckon Muster will pip us at this one ..the youngsters are performing well for them..

No we just want to get youngsters experience but really the gulf in difference of class is huge and we really have to just try but it not lookin too good for us

Less it now :D. You guys are the home side, top of the league and playing for your season with the likes of Alan Quinlan looking to sign off in a good way. Our boys are jaded to say the least.

Munster by 4.

No our lads just want a beach and it unlikely Quinny will be involved although it isn't out of question, we topped league but that doesn't tell full story as I said we aren't up to that standard and well hopefully we can just keep it respectable.

:( Aw, okay.

WAIT, NO! THIS IS NOT HOW THIS IS GOING TO WORK! WE WANT TO BE PLUCKY UNDERDOGS! DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!

Bumped into a few of the Leinster players last night on harcourt. They said that some of them have been on the **** for the last 3 nights in a row!

Anyway I would like to see Wright start and get a good send off as well as McFadden, Boss and VDM who have waited patiently. I also wouldn't mind seeing Dominic Ryan and O'Malley getting a run out consider their contributions to the Magners this season.

Ideally something like this
1.VDM
2.Strauss
3.Wright
4.Cullen
5.Hines
6.Ryan
7.O'Brien
8.Heaslip
9.Boss
10.Sexton
11.Fitzgerald
12.McFadden
13.O'Malley
14.Horgan
15.Nacewa

Seems Leinster were beck training today and were really in sharp form. Feic I doubt ye can be considered underdogs and fact is we are really up against it and well chances of us winning are like that rapture - It's not going to happen ;)

Right im saying Munster by 3! i dont think its fair to say that we dont deserve to be on the same field as leinster! just cuz we didnt get out of the HC pool, everyone thinks Munster had a terrible season! all in all it hasnt been the worst! we beat Australia which was a feat in itself and we finished 13 points clear of leinster in the magners, beat ospreys in th SF and are now in the GF against leinster! so it hasnt been all that bad in fairness! leinster wont be as fired up for this match (even though for the first half they wernt) as they were last saturday in cardiff and Munster will be looking to end the season on a high! so im not confident of a Munster win but wudnt be all that suprised if we beat Leinster, +its in Fort Thomond with an estimated 17,000 Munster fans so it gives us an even bigger advantage!
