In what would be a surprise move by an in-form Toulon, it looks like Jonny Wilkinson could be rested for their Heineken Cup clash with Munster.
The Pool Three showdown at Thomond Park will see a wounded home side look to get their term back on track following defeat at London Irish.
But with Wilkinson having played a full 80 minutes in eight out of the club's last nine games, Philippe Saint-Andre has hinted that international back Felipe Contepomi may be brought in.
"I will change some players and rest a few," he said, speaking to the Daily Mail.
"I have guys like Felipe Contepomi who will start next week."
Toulon face Top 14 trips to Stade Francais and Toulouse in the coming weeks.
Hardly a bad "backup".
