If anyone has seen today's news on the BBC website you might have come across this. So its goodbye to the Llanelli Scarlets and hello to *Drum Roll * The Scarlets. Stuart Gallacher the Scarlets chief executive, said: "The Scarlets represent an area which stretches far beyond the town of Llanelli", and to be fair he is correct. The Scarlets cover North and West Wales but we rarely see the Scarlets up our end. Hopefully now dropping the name will mean that the Scarlets will now just not sit in Llanelli but move some games up North, its been a fair old few years since the Scarlets last played in Wrexham!
