Massively. He's good ball in hand, beats a lot of defenders, but he's way too small to play fullback.

He basically lost every aerial challenge v Sco and Eng.

He could work on the wing, but for Wales in Japan, not for the Lions.

Yep. A bit against expectations, although we probably owe Thomas du Toit a debt of gratitude too.

But with the experience of Genge, George, LCD, Stuart and Itoje the expectations should be reasonably high.

I think his form and influence hasn't been as good as other's this tournament. Tbh I've not seen his stats and the Ireland lads will probably have a better idea. The back row is so competitive it's mad.

To be fair I didn't mind any of those Scottish backs apart from VDM because he's not Scottish

Really tough on VDM that he gets all the heat for the entire 'project players' episode. He really isn't the only one, and Scotland isn't the only nation guilty.
