After being linked to a move to Newcastle before the World Cup the offer has improved for Argenitne backrower, Leo Senatore, who is set to sign a contract for French Top 14 club, Toulon. The move would see him link up with Juan Martín Fernández Lobbe who is injured and likely to be out for some time after he went down vs Scotland in the World Cup. Senatore broke past Kieran Read and Richie McCaw to set up Argentina´s try vs New Zealand in the World Cup. He is Argentine based.

Senatore has confirmed it on twitter.

“Mi primer dia en el club... A conocer a los compañeros y entrenar un poco de fisico que ganas de jugar!â€.

good news for Senatore, Toulon is certainly a better club for him to be joining than relegation doomed Newcastle in my opinion

I wonder how much game time he will get, his main competition would be Jono Tawake, he surely must be considered ahead of Alafoti Fa'osiliva and Pierrick Gunther, I don't know when van Niekerk returns from injury

What ever happened to that other Toulon signing, Willie Mason?
