Leinster trio Girvan Dempsey, Gordon D'Arcy and Chris Whitaker have all had the extent of their relative injuries revealed in the wake of Sunday's heavy defeat at the hands of Toulouse.
The news is worst for Whitaker who has suffered a broken leg and will be out of action for at least 12 weeks, the Aussie has already undergone surgery with a metal plate being inserted into the leg.
It's not so clear on the prognosis for Girvan Dempsey, the full back suffered a knee injury on Sunday and it's feared it could be a recurral of medial ligament damage which would see him out of action until the New Year missing the crucial double header against Edinburgh.
D'Arcy meanwhile suffered a hip injury but is expected to be back for the Edinburgh game at the RDS on December 7.
