Holders Leicester welcome back Tom Croft, Ben Kay, George Chuter and Martin Castrogiovanni from Six Nations duty for the EDF Energy Cup semi-final.

Boris Stankovich starts at loose-head prop and Ben Herring at flanker.

Wasps bring in Paul Sackey and Danny Cipriani at the expense of Mark Van Gisbergen and Dave Walder, while Eoin Reddan reclaims the scrum-half shirt.

England stars Phil Vickery, Simon Shaw and James Haskell return to the pack but Tom Rees and Joe Worsley are out.

Tigers forward coach Richard Cockerill says, "The attitude of the players has been top class all week and it's been pretty obvious how determined they are to do well. Playing in a semi-final, on a big stage like the Millennium Stadium and against a good side like Wasps, is a great opportunity Winning the trophy against the Ospreys last season was a massive achievement for the club and we've said all along that we're desperate to try and repeat that success this time around."

Wasps director of rugby Ian McGeechan says, "This is the biggest challenge we've faced to date this season. When you are in the knockout stages of any competition, you expect the opposition to raise the bar. Of course, that requires us to do the same but the history of big games between our sides has consistently shown that Wasps and Leicester bring out the best in each other. It's good to welcome back those players who have been away on international duty, but it's important from a club perspective that they can successfully don their Wasps hats once again and fulfil the roles we expect them to play."

Leicester: Murphy, Varndell, Rabeni, Hipkiss, Alesana Tuilagi, Goode, Ellis; Stankovich, Chuter, Castrogiovanni, L Deacon, Kay, Croft, Herring, Corry (capt).
Replacements: Kayser, Ayerza, White, Crane, Laussucq, Cornwell, Vesty.

Wasps: Lewsey, Paul Sackey, Waters, Flutey, Doherty, Cipriani, Reddan; Payne, Ibanez, Vickery, Shaw, Palmer, Hart, Haskell, Dallaglio (capt). Replacements: Ward, French, Skivington, Leo, McMillan, Walder, Waldouck.

If this was a final I'd back Wasps all the way given recent history between these two.
As it is though... too hard to call.

I'm just looking forward to a great game of rugby

This should be a good match. Haven't got the chance to see Johne Murphy play 80 minutes yet. I think Wasps will do it.

Tigers 13 - 12 Wasps at half time. Leicester are really missing Geordan Murphy at fullback it seems although Johne Murphy looks good going forward. I can't understand this Ellis hype rom the BBC. He is playing well but not great and they are talking about how him and Cipriani are going to be the next Gregan and Larkham and stuff.

Agreed, with that MunsterMan, but still he has had a decent game. All four half-backs have, in fact.
It's been a great game: Leicester 20 - 12 Wasps now.

Bloody hell, eight tries? Who said NH rugby is boring again? Who said that the old rules didn't produce many tries?

That would be me, I'll go back to my corner now.

Was glad to see Ellis back. Twas a brilliant match to watch. Just goes to show that you can have the best defense in the world, but if your set piece isn't working, then your going to have trouble scoring.

Just heard Corry saying it was a really enjoyable game, and it certainly looked that way.

It's amazing what Wasps have achieved in recent years because their line out has been dreadful for a good few seasons now.

But at the same time, they couldn't have got away with throwing that amount of lineout ball away today. In previous encounters, it has all seemed to come together for Wasps, and yes, their success has been incredible in the past few years, but when your giving lineout ball away to people like croft and corry, how do you expect to make a dominant impression on the game?

The simple answer is that you can't.
It didn't help that they lost Shaw in the warm up but it's definitely a weakness in their game.

Considering you have people like Shaw, Dallaglio Haskell and Ibanez there, it's surprising that it is such a weakness in their game. Wasps improve their line out= a huge step up in their game= more trophies for my London rivals!
