Leicester Tigers fly half Andy Goode became the highest scorer in Guinness Premiership history as his side brushed aside Saracens at Welford Road. Goode surpassed Jonny Wilkinson's previous record of 1,413 points as he kicked 21 of Leicester's 36 points.

The home side trailed 13-9 at the break, Saracens' Dan Scarborough going over for the only try of the half.

Leicester hit back in the second half, tries from Seru Rabeni, Alesana Tuilagi and Tom Varndell securing the win.

Saracens back-rower Kris Chesney also put his name in the history books with his 194th Premiership appearance, taking him above Simon Shaw and Neal Hatley on the list of record appearance makers.

Didn't get to watch it due to being on nights. The reports seem to suggest we could have scored more. I'm just relieved we won given our recent form.
 
Simple stuff, when Rabeni plays, Leicester look so much better. good to see Tuilagi and Ellis back as well but Sarries unlucky not to get anything from this
