Cardiff Blues full-back Ben Blair is sweating over a long-standing knee injury that could spell the end to the former All Black's impressive career.
The 31-year-old, who wore the black jersey six times and amassed 62 points, has been out for three months with few signs of the problem improving.
"Ben is still no closer, said Blues director of rugby David Young, speaking to the South Wales Echo.
"He is looking at a second opinion. He is getting just as frustrated as everyone else.
"He's still having a hell of a lot of pain with that knee and it doesn't seem to be getting much better with him at the minute."
There is no doubt that Blair's assured figure at the back for the Blues, and also his kicking, has been missed recently, with Chris Czekaj filling in.
