Alun-Wyn Jones could be the latest Wales international to be lured across the Channel to the Top 14 after attracting interest from French clubs.

The Ospreys second-row is out of contract at the end of the season and admits he is weighing up interest from France.

Although the 25-year-old, who played in Wales' Six Nations victory over Scotland on Saturday, has not ruled out staying with the Ospreys, he could be tempted to follow fellow Welsh internationals James Hook and Lee Byrne in leaving the Liberty Stadium for a new challenge.

"There has been interest from France, as there has been with other players," Jones told Wales on Sunday. "In fairness to the Ospreys, they approached me about a contract extension the week before the Magners League final last year, but that wasn't the best time to sit down and make decisions about the future.

"I put it off and I have been busy with the Ospreys captaincy and with Wales since then. I am in talks with the Ospreys but there has been interest from France."

Ospreys scrum-half Mike Phillips has also been linked with a move away from the region, while Gavin Henson and Scarlets centre Regan King are among the stars who have signed deals with Top 14 sides for next season.
