Jonah Lomu

One of the best things about Jonah, is that even in the late 90's when his form was starting to dip, and the tries dried up, he was still such as asset to our team. Reason being is every team we played had to put allocate two players to mark him, leaving opportunities for other players in the ABs to find space.

He deserves all the accolades he gets, and he is just such a nice guy to boot.

True Legend!

Definitely a legend. He could have made so much more money overseas, yet he stayed in NZ for the black jersey. Unlike some players these days...

the best winger of all times........no one is also powerful now has share Chabal maybe !!

Yeah he's my all time favourite player, it was great seeing him running like a war machine, no one could stop him when he got in the way

I read somewhere in a rugby magazine that (this is some guy writing in) Jonah Lomu wouldn't be a standout player today. Back then, the writer said, nobody had power. Today, you can't play without it.

He went on to blabber about Sean Lamont.

All I can say is BS. Human beings don't just evolve closer towards supermen/women in a decade. Power then is power now. Perhaps today's pros have more efficient workouts etc etc. But Lomu's power (and pace)? That's something you either have or you don't. No amount of weightlifting can 'Lomu-ize' you.

Sorry Sean Lamont.

there was no better sight in international rugby than watching jonah lomu go on one of his charging runs down the flank leaving opposition players lying in his wake.

No doubt about it Jonah is a legend, but I don't think he would be as devasting if he was still playing (as mentioned above). He revolutionised the game, and as can be seen rugby has adapted because of him.

This man was my son. I'm very proud of him. He destroyed the morale of rugby teams the world over, in particular those english swine.

he is like the thing on roids.. he revolutionize the game totally, i don't think its possible to find a second him

It really all depends on whether or not Chabal has another child.

Jonah was a great player. He's the reason I switched from American Football to Rugby
