John Beattie: Can the Six Nations change to become a bigger tournament?

I really wish I still had a link to that IRB Tour Schedule announcement, will just say here what was said in it, that over the next decade each 6 Nations team will participate in at least 1 tour (most were scheduled for 2) to Tier 2 countries, like an Americas tour, an Asian tour or Eastern European tour. The Tier 2 sides should get ample opportunities over the next decade to play Tier 1 teams (and focus on these games) without having to tour south/ west and be mullered.
