Fair play to him, but it's somewhat of an odd choice. I would have given it to Richie Gray or Sergio Parrise, but niether were nominated.

For the record, even though I felt I should vote for Warburton due to my Welsh blood, I voted for Flood.

Didn't deserve it imo. Finished the tourny strongly, but didn't stand out in the first few games for me. England won the tournament, give it to Ashton or Flood or someone.

Massi was class this 6 Nations, i banged on about him plenty!
I'm glad i can rub it in the faces of some of the boys who laughed at me.

The first three games McLean started, I believe, and it's hard for a substitute to come on and make a huge impression. Masi has the attacking power that you don't see too often from McLean (he's more of a kicker, ironic considering his Australian roots). I'm glad Italy finally has a good counter-attacker. I know he isn't up there in world-class fullbacks, but his style reminds of Mils Muliana.
