Three weekends down and three to go and I just feel,........can't be bothered!!

I just feel that the excitement has gone out of these two competitions and the standards have been putrid....

But there again maybe I am getting too old............

I'm enjoying it!
Probably because the usual suspects aren't performing.

Toulon: beaten by a Tigers side that's been mostly poor all season
Leinster: beaten by a Quins side that's been mostly poor all season
Munster: beaten at home by a French side for the first time ever.

It's anyone's!

It's alright... can't say I really feel it's any different to normal.

We're just further along the path the professional game is on - club owners and private interests want more games than the players are capable of delivering.
It's bound to dilute the quality of a lot of the games.

well Challenge sucks phallus and buttocks simultaneously so that's out of the way but I do see what you're saying about Champions. Last year's season was better, but then again I'm thinking of the playoffs (which haven't happened yet this year). You've watched a shiitty game earlier, the Castres one. If you've watched the Toulouse one too, then you must be completely jaded. The stakes are high and teams must perform and win, above all insure a WIN, and precious points. Let alone the way, and it is contemporary European Rugby...
It happened to have been a very shiitty day in content, and maybe you've watched too much Rugby in two full days.

But Toulouse played some very nice games the first 2 days, Clermont had a pretty good one against the Sharks and the game at Saracens was pretty nice, North scored 4 tries in a match some time ago. Toulon winning at Ulster was a pretty good one too...

Just believe that phallus and buttocks sucking is only temporary and sometimes just a mood and you should be smiling uninterruptedly for 80minutes again in no time.

Here's a pic of Miss France runnerup and Miss Côte d'Azur from yesterday's comp to cheer you up ! Surely age hasn't made you insensitive and numb for this

Meh, round three has always been the worst round in the tournament and we haven't got any really top class sides like the Classic Toulouse, Leinster, Munster, Leicester or Wasps sides of the past at the moment also Craig Doyle and Matt Dawson make everything worse.

Crimey!! I felt it was pretty crap and not even watching them on BT Sport!!!

I'm not finding it all all exciting, because........................I'm not seeing it.

Looks the the much vaunted replacement for the Heineken Cup doesn't merit anyone picking up international broadcasting rights.

We see a limited selection of AP matches, Pro12 and Top 14.

....thats all folks

NOTE: we used to get Heineken Cup through ESPN and The Rugby Channel, but neither of them carry the new comp.

sorry i have to correct you my friend Miss Tahiti was the 1eme dauphine, and Miss Cote D'azur was 2eme dauphine making her 3rd, Miss Tahiti should have won but there were more phone calls from chiti land than Tahiti

Hasn't sky got it?

Finding it really uninspiring, didn't watch a single game properly over the weekend, watch the Tigers- Toloun game but pretty much everything else was just not very interesting.

Watched the Sale vs Saracens game this morning on the train, then skimmed through the Bath game from Friday - both just bored me - and i'm firmly of the opinion Burgess will not amount to anything as a center (but that's for another thread).

Its had some great games and some dull ones. Problem is that if you lose your opening games theres naff all to play for, you could have erxpect Sale for example, to not bother and send out the reserves but, whilst some players were out, they gave it a good go and could have won

Nope.

As I said, we have AP, Top14 and Pro 12 matches via NZ Sky TV

Apparently, the RCC is on Setanta in Australia (no Setanta broadcaster in NZ; there used to be when the HC was on and The Rugby Channel broadcast it).

In the USA its on ESPN3, but NZ Sky only rebroadcasts ESPN1 and 2.

hahaha, that's true she was second dolphin - and wait wait, where were you on Saturday night my dear, mmmm ?!! Managed to slip a sleeping pill in the wife's wine ? :D

But pleaaaaaaase, have you SEEN that Miss Côte d'Azur ?!! The rest were cute/banal except for about 3 or 4, but this one was craaazy beautiful, how do you even date something like that, I'd probably freeze with eyes wide open, unable to utter the slightest word :p

Anyways:
next weekend to be better. There are lots of rematches from this week, so teams will make the adjustments against opposition they now know. Like I said, teams need points, need to win, and they're almost all playing teams from another league, slightly different style, against players they don't know - so must be careful and conservative... Yes it's always been this way (facing little known opposition), it's not new from this year, but teams have become more competitive this time around and defenses *have* been tightening up like crazy as an exponential evolution in the past few seasons.

And some teams, not to make excuses, were on a bad day anyways. Clearly Toulon, Toulouse from what I know, perhaps others. They dropped so many balls, it then becomes a leitmotiv for the entire 80min, a theme, and the pressure rises and they can't get away from the funk.

Toulon WILL be better next week, I hope Toulouse too and the overall level of the weekend I'm sure will rise. Again, the first two weekends weren't bad at all, pretty good in fact. It's just this one.

thought it was BeIn in North America.

fair enough I just presumed SKY rights would be global.

well Miss Scotland is Richie Gray's Girlfriend like honestly,

well Miss Scotland is Richie Gray's Girlfriend like honestly,

reading this a bit too fast, I thought you were saying Richie Gray is Miss Scotland, which would be fine but there's better out there.

It is Scotland... I reckon I could win the thing after a month or two in the gym.

the gym ?? you're such a superficial human being cmac, god... I mentioned Richie Gray because he's a beautiful lady....inside. He's a soft, gentle giant with a big heart, but sure enough you immediately thought Scotty and I were talking about his exterior, as if all we saw were his generous curves and his wild dirty blonde bimbo hairdo. There's an innocence in his eyes, a tender teenage virgin's purity about him...but you could never understand that, it's all about looks for you...YOU COULD NEVER UNDERSTAND THAT !!! *dramatic, long run across the room*
