yes, you fool. We didn't take our chances, and as usual no one bothered to referee the scrum properly, which meant that the myth that the Aussie scrum won the day was created. If you remember we moved into the lead and looked totally dominant, only to throw it all away.

Whoever said Ireland won't beat SH teams - they're capable of beating Australia. This Ireland team is by no means world class but they've demonstrated they're experts at winning 50/50 matches without having to play nice rugby. All it takes is bullying Australia's pack, which Ireland certainly can do, then it's game on.

Being capable and actually doing it are two different things, America is capable of beating New Zealand, Nambia is capable of beating South Africa. But none of them actually do it.

What a stupid thing to say. You know exactly what I meant.

@ Dale, yes you're right, Australia should have beaten England in the RWC like NZ should have beaten France. It doesn't always happen that way, but being in the position of winning a game is obviously more important than being ****** off the park, since it suggests that you are potentially a better side.

Poor analogy. Sorry but uh, Namibia could play SA's youth team and still struggle.

that's the one downside of the Lions tour and Wales suffered the same fate in 2005 but no follow up Summer tour to test themselves against the SH teams with the confidence of a recent grand slam behind them. Come November that momentum is gone and you're starting the season afresh.

South Africa were a bounce of the ball away from losing to Tonga at the RWC. I don't think I've ever cheered on a side so much.
Sure you were missing your first players, but they didn't improve the team's performance much when they came on, since you still barely clinched victory from the bowels of defeat.

I'm willing to bet that even Tonga would put 50 points on Namibia. As for the claim about the replacements coming on and not doing much, i think you need to watch that game again. If they didn't come on, we would have lost for sure. That was probably the best game the Tongans ever played. The fact is, Namibia are NOT capable of beating us. EVER. Which was why that post failed. Besides, your cheering was nowhere near mine when Fiji whooped you blokes.

Haha... what utter rubbish...

The English forwards were completely outmuscled, and the backline wasn't very threatening.

The last 10-15mins of that game were the highlight for me as England just kept getting absolutey battered by the Australian defence.

Yeah, you really should've beaten us...

You obviously didn't read past Africa..... It was a dig at Ginger saying that who cares if they are capable they can't actually do it...
