Ireland Six Nations Squad 2025

Start Ahern and Baird against Italy pussies.

Haven't really had an eye at all on Bolton, random one but can't say there's any obvious player who was jumped over.

Doris in doubt for the Wales game.

Believe Ahern went of for a HIA last night and didn't return and Izuchukwu potentially broke his foot?

Conan obviously a more than able deputy but you'd hope Big Joe is back for a bit more bench impact.

Now we know where Ireland's future players will come from. 😎

Sure Radge is a yank.

Not from Cawk (bai) at all.

Dunno whats worse to be honest, a Cawk langer - or a wannabe Cawk langer.

Squad for the A game

Happy for Hodnett and Coombes to get the gear anyway. Not sure there's been an update on Aherns head knock. Presume he failed, which is a shame cos he was making **** of people last night

Tom out with concussion and Henderson and Izzy out too.
Doris I've heard is very much more serious and French game a race big time

Healy, POM and Murray all retiring.

All Irish legends and same for their provinces. Only 390 caps between them.

Send them away with a slam lads.

Murray going to play abroad, wonder where.

I'm sure the coaches have been aware for a while. Be interesting how much sentimentality is shown the last two rounds.

I reckon you start Baird v France. Serious energy from the crowd whenever they come on in the second half could be huge.

On Murray. He is in 23 at moment based on merit.

Pete was always also starting against France. Baird just hasn't wrestled the jersey off him. Healy will be 17 next week too.
Also Gavin Coombes was blocked this week from joining us. So wonder what that means.

We'll see. Selections have been horses for courses so far, as great as POM has been, the super physical games were never his stringest point.

If Doris and Conan don't make it, Coombes will have a big opportunity.

True. My claim isn't based on what POM can do just feel Baird has slipped in the minds of Irish Camp since English game. It the lack of alternatives saving Peter these days.

Three of the greats. While its probably time, they will take some replacing.

I'm confused. How is the Leinster game counting? Surely it's the same thing France tried with Ntamack and if Ringrose hadn't been carded he wouldn't have been released to play this weekend.

My guess is that it'd be conjecture on WR's part. FFR and LNR have a public agreement with strict rules re club availability, the IRFU don't.

Would need to see the rules governing the decision though.

If I was Italy I'd definitely query it. I'm sure I've seen it before where if the player wouldn't have played if he hadn't been banned, then the game shouldn't count regardless of rules. It's definitely Ireland trying to pull a fast one because as I said, there is no way he would have played this weekend if he wasn't banned.

Is the presence/absence of Ringrose really going to determine the outcome of Ita v Ire? I think the Italian team have more pressing problems to worry about!
