I've never seen anything like this trend of injuries. It's beyond ridiculous.

Well it's a great chance for our 4th/5th (in the hypothetical situation of Fitzpatrick being fit and on form) tighthead get a chance.

Watched BOD on Late Late. What a hero but well even he knows the 13 issue. When asked who should replace him he said Henshaw. He's a top player and has learnt a lot. When asked about Payne (he squints) says he's excellent 13 but a world class 15.
I know Schmidt is smart and hope he realises that Payne is not an answer at 13.
He's been playing 15 in camp all week but that's due to Kearney being out of the drills.

so a back line of

15 Payne
14 Bowe
13 Henshaw
12 D'Arcy
11 Zebo
10 Sexton
9 Murray

Not to shabby considering the injuries, on paper probably the most naturally talented back line we have, in terms of work rate and defense however, I'm not so sure.

Saw some unconfirmed reports of Sexton going off injured at half time for Racing...

If he's out who'd you go for at 10?

Id say Keatley because he's more physical and while his goal kicking can be off I've a feeling he will deliver. He will control game and is very intelligent with the ball. Also he knows Murray and has that link in a game where tactical kicking will be factor. Madigan will also give a much bigger impact off player.

Jackson haha.

Yeah Keatley from the guys in the squad would be my next choice but his goal kicking would be a huge worry.

If that's true then we might as well write off this series. He's our most important player and the one guy we can't replace.

He definitely didn't play the second half, not a good sign. ****!!!

As I said I'd be confident his kicks will be fine. Jackson mind you did look good tonight. But I think of the 3 Keatleys skillset would be best suited. And I think Madigans unpredictability would be massive asset off bench. I think he will wear 22 regardless.

Didn't want to start another thread but we'll be playing the Baa Baa's in Thomond on the 28th of May, gives Schmidt by my count 10 matches before the WC to look at players.
