Hex editing

Anyone got any idea how to edit save files in a hex editor? I'm looking to do stuff like changing which teams are human-controlled, changing the venues of matches, and maybe adding/altering fixtures. The first of those is the biggest one for me, so if nothing else I'd like to be able to change that
