Help: Rugby Shorts - UK Size

I'm going to buy an Adidas rugby short, my problem is that I don't know the UK sizes, then I need help.

UK Size: 32 - 34 - 36 - 38 - 40 - 42 - 44 - 46 - 48

Number 32 is XS, right?

Which number is the Medium size? 34 or 36?

Which number is the Large size? 36, 38 or 40?

But 32 is the first size, be XS or S. It's the smallest size in the catalog...

I'd say 34 is a medium (my mediums feel like my 34s at least).

Just so we're clear, you know 32 isn't an arbitrary number, right? ...it's 32 inches.

Adidas' medium size is 32-35".

Well, here we don't use inches, we use centimeters then I don't know about inches.

So 36 is almost a Medium size, right? I'm afraid to buy 34 and stayed very tight

I'm medium and fit 32-34. 36 would probably be slightly loose but if it has a draw string it'll probably be ok.

Oh, I forgot the size 30!!!!!!!!! Then UK 30 = Small, so 34 = Medium and 36 = Large

That happened because the seller doesn't have size 30, then the options are beginning from 32 and I thought that 32 was small
